Silicone braided hose can withstand multiple sterilization cycles but is not limited to ethylene oxide (EO), autoclave, steam (SIP), gamma irradiation, and electron beam irradiation.
Although the silicone braided hoses are among the longest service life in their class, they can become “sticky” after multiple exposures to high-temperature sterilization cycles, then they should be replaced with new ones.
